Well.....here I am. And here we go. I found this website by accident and signed up on a whim. But I think I like it. So far any.
That is a (bad) pic of me on this site....holding a quilt I created for a silent auction with all proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research Foundation. This quilt was a devil to finish - but I loved doing it. The auction was held in conjunction with my high school ## year reunion (do you REALLY need to know the number of years?...I think not!) Anyway - although the quilt only brought in $150, it felt good to contribute something to this incredibly worthwhile cause.
I also have Bailey's Quilt Shoppe items listed on Etsy.com......but so do 36,000 other quilters! The site is a good idea - but one tends to get totally lost amid all the other crafters who have discovered the site. Right now, I'm searching for Craft Fairs/Shows to display my art. And in case you're wondering about the shop name, it's named for my 5-year old Shih Tsu. She's a total trip and I don't know what I'd do without her. Bye for now and more later.
