Barbara paints contemporary impressions of life at the shore in oil, watercolor, and acrylic media. She paints en plein air as well as in her studio. Her subjects include shorelines, beaches, boats, harbors, marshes, children, flowers, and still life works. Her paintings capture the essence of light and mood evoking memories of and timelessness of life by the sea.
