I always enjoyed working with my hands. When I was a child my grandmother taught me to crochet, and my aunt knitting. I made many sweaters, scarves and afghans as a teenager and adult. My husband gave me a Christmas gift that got me interested in glass, which was a stained glass class by a local artist. This lesson evolved into 2 + years of lessons which I made windows for friends and family. As I explored more about glass I discovered lampworking and taught myself how to make beads. I found molten glass to be memorizing and a challenge to control and form beads and design. I combined my talents and designed one of a kind jewelry. My jewelry is a combination of seed bead crochet and lampwork. The lampwork beads are kiln annealed for durability.
