I’ve been making quilts and teaching quiltmaking for over 35 years and still have more ideas for quilts than I’ll ever have time to finish! I love quilting because it gives me the creative freedom to make whatever my mind can imagine, no matter how big, small or complicated. Then the quilting design brings the quilt to life with an added dimension – I’ll never be bored!
When my granddaughter was born in 2009, I started making her all kinds of quilty things…quilts, bibs and soft toys and loved every minute of it! After many people said I should share these with others, and with some strong encouragement, I agreed, so I opened my Etsy Shop in March, 2011.
I make all the bibs to last through repeated washings and still look great! My granddaughter, featured in my profile picture, is wearing “Lily Loves Bunnies” that she and her Mom love. It’s been washed over 50 times and still looks great! I make all my bibs using the same quality materials and workmanship.
Each bib is handmade in my smoke-free studio and individually quilted on my home sewing machine to accent the fabric design and create the look of a traditional that makes each one unique!
