Growing up, I spent many weekends & summer days on my grandparent's farm in Northern Arkansas. It was literally a different world from my everyday life, and I loved it! We spent our days helping Grandpa tend to the animals on the farm and once the work was done there was a lot of hunting & fishing going on! The afternoons were spent in Grandma's kitchen cooking up whatever was brought home & it always smelled so good!
There was one special treat us Grands looked forward too on a hot summer day...we loaded up in the back of Grandpa's truck & road through the field to Bay Creek for a swim & a picnic. We spent hours floating, fishing, goofing & just having a grand ole time. Those were the days, & I miss them so much that when I started my soap business, I wanted to pay tribute to a long-lost way of life and my precious memories of Bay Creek.
