Hello, I am the artist and owner of Beachcombers Broken Treasures. I started my small company so that I can share my love of beach glass. I have self collected all the beach glass I use in Bellingham WA. I enjoy looking for those perfectly frosted pieces, pink and purples are my favorite colors.
I have found that the fully frosted pieces doesn't work well for making candles, ornaments and wind chimes; as you want to have the colors of the glass shining though. The glass that I use for making these items has also been picked up by me off the beach, but I take them home and tumble them. By tumbling them it turns the glass into smooth see though glass, thus the light can shine though.
