I am Claire Rye the maker and pattern designer behind Bear Rye creations. The name originates from the very obvious childhood nickname of Claire Bear, which has stuck into adulthood. My humble little shop has started as a way to share my obsession with yarn which was brought on by the teachings of my Nan and an urge to learn how to make amigurumi. I love to create colourful, unique squishy goodness. I make a mixture of womens crocheted garments and accessories, along with toys and novelty teacher gifts.
