The BeezFoundation is an organization that raises money for pediatric brain cancer research. Each year, in conjunction with the Original Raritan River Festival in New Brunswick, we hold a Rubber Ducky Race that raises a lions share of our grant money. The Festival was started by a group of local environmentalists interested in savings the nations rivers, led by Pete Seeger and his Clearwater organization over 30 years ago.
The foundation provides seed money to a researcher that has a feasible concept to gather the basic statistics and data to beable to apply for grants to make their idea a reality. We also grant money to the Happiness is Camping organization to send one or more children with cancer to camp for a week and Ronald McDonald house.
