Belatrix Designs, Washington, CT
My background is as a games and simulations designer. I entered the interactive industry in the early 1980's. Most of my interactive gaming work has been in research and development for major companies internationally. I came to America in 1987. In 1995 I joined forces with my husband, an international artist called Hugh O'Donnell. From that time I have worked with him on his site-specific projects and also as administrative director of Hugh O'Donnell Workshops, a master class workshop program that we run at our Washington, Connecticut facility. As part of this workshop program I also sell art supplies.
In 2009 I began creating jewelry. This has been something I have wanted to do for many years and I am really enjoying all aspects of it from the making to the selling. I work with beads and also love making pendant pieces. I create earrings, necklaces and bracelets at a variety of price ranges. I also love making pieces for children.
