Most all of my turnings come from fallen trees that would have found their way to the landfill or burned. The other source of wood is scraps from high end woodworking and/or reclaimed wood. I bring the wood home and process, dry, and turn the pieces. This process takes close to a year but is well worth the effort. I am truly amazed at the at the beauty that is created from something that looks like firewood.
