I, Laurie Galloway, have always dabbled in jewelry-making and beading, but until recently, haven't had the leisure time to pursue my passion for beautiful designs. With my daughter off to college, I've re-ignited that creatuve flame, and am enjoying this wild ride! Largely self-taught, I am drawn to semi-precious stones in earth and sea tones, beads, pearls and various sea glasses. It's especially gratifying for me to customize designs for clients, using birthstones, charms or other inspirations. Crocheted wire necklaces, earrings and bracelets, in both silver- and gold-plate, have been in high demand this season, as have my pearl and MOP
(mother-of-pearl) fantasy creations.
