Don makes crosses by hand. A woodworker at heart, he sees the cross within the wood. The wood often has natural cracks that run throughout that he fills with turquoise. A pastor once told us that the turquoise fills the cracks in the wood, much like Jesus fills the cracks in our lives. What a poetically true statement.
