Blaze Triptych is a Chicago-based modern jazz trio, piano/bass/drums. We write and perform modern jazz in a wide range that includes straight-ahead tunes, latin, funk, and some surprises. We enjoy taking familiar classics from various genres and re-imagining them in propulsive ways; our own original compositions can range from bop to blues to fusion.
