Pride

details: Everyone has experienced feelings of pride, yet sometimes it feels like we're more accustomed to knowing what shame feels like. One of the most important questions worth asking ourselves is this: Is my identity (and self-worth) as an individual a result of all the things I take pride in, or did it come to be as a result of avoiding feelings of shame? Whether you are an individual or group of individuals, we should all admire the tenacity it takes to live boldly in the face of the critic. Because nothing feels better than being the you, you deserve to be.

Beach Mode

details: It's funny how the closer the summer gets, the more my I begin to see my surroundings as if I'm already at the Jersey Shore. The memories I've made at the beach with my wife, my daughter, and family are some of my favorites, and it gently eases my soul into a state of renewal. Beach Mode isn't just a passing thing... it's a perspective on life.

Blood Moon Rising

details: Chaos, disruption, and change…These are just a few things a blood moon represents. Chaos and disruption in life can be unwelcomed visitors, but when we thoughtfully and intentionally inflict these disruptions upon ourselves, we're in store for some major growth.

Insomnia

details: I've always been able to fall asleep quickly. However, when I rediscovered my calling to be an artist, I found myself lying awake at night out of sheer excitement for the possibility that tomorrow would bring. To this day, I think about art as I fall asleep, and it is the first thing I think about when I wake up.

Inner Child

details: Moving halfway across the country was hard at a young age, but I learned some important lessons. Home is more than just the place where I reside. It's a place that resides within me, capable of becoming the most beautiful work of art life has to offer. No matter what circumstances we may find ourselves in, we are the only ones capable of taking the steps necessary to change our perspectives on what it means to be “Home.”
