In 2010 I began taking 'baby steps' towards using my love of taking pictures to making them available for others to enjoy. I discovered a site where I can get a 'metallic finish' on my photos that make them 'pop', making my photo note cards different from many I've seen.
Pictures I've chosen have been taken by my husband, sons, a long time friend, and myself, thus the name 'Gilby Creations'. It is fun to choose the photo note card that best enhances and frames each photo.
I've divided the Photo Note Cards into the following series: acquatic, animals, birds, butterflies, flowers, historic (buildings, homesteads, historic places, trucks, railroad cars, windmills) landscape (lakes, mountains), still life (including Christmas, Winter scenes), and woodlands.
I have added many more photos to my collection since my 'First Show'!
I'm excited to see where this love of taking photos and creating note cards takes me!
