Digital watercolor painting is created by taking a high resolution photograph and importing into Photoshop. There, I convert it into a special file and use actions, brushes and patterns to create a refined digital water color. Further steps, like texturing, canvas layering, etc. are taken to give the image a "fine art" painted look. All photography is original, taken by me.
