A charismatic singer/songwriter, Brenna's beautiful voice and finger-picking guitar skills combine with her warmth and wit to connect audiences with her own unique perspective on life as a woman of a certain age. After performing for many years as a folksinger in Atlanta and Boston, Brenna's songwriting journey began when she transitioned to raising two daughters and working in the corporate world – giving voice to the laughs and challenges of life as a “working Mom.” Fast-forward to today, now caring for her husband suffering from Alzheimer's, her songs chronicle the joys and sorrows of re-inventing herself yet again while celebrating the rich tapestry of their many years together.
Brenna is currently celebrating the release of LIKE FINE WINE, an album of original songs featuring heartfelt stories such as the “Like Fine Wine” title track and "Welfare Train," along with tongue-in-cheek favorites like "Gray Hair Blues," "Procrastination," and "Buy More Shoes." Back-up musicians on the album include legendary folksinger, Claudia Schmidt, and multi-instrumentalist, Jim Henry.
