I am a lampworker, using a 1500 degree torch to create beads and vessels using glass from Italy, Germany, and the US. I sell loose beads for jewelry designers, pendants, and finished pieces, including beaded pens and other functional items. I also create some jewelry, often incorporating stamped metal tags or copper electroformed found objects, seed pods or shells. Show shoppers love browsing through loose beads to design their own beaded gifts, like pens, wine stoppers, bottle openers and serving pieces. It is a delight to watch someone's creativity bloom through the simple process of selecting beads for a pen, spoon or bottle opener.
