Busybeane started out as a hobby of mine where I was giving everything I ever made away to friends, family and patients. Advertising came cheap as my items were hanging or sitting in patients rooms. Being a very busy RN for over 30 years left me being very happy making things for just patients alone. Then co workers would ask me to make them something, then something for a family member and another family member and well from there BusyBeane was started. A friend would always tell me you are always so busy busy busy......and there the name was born. I can say that I have been a worker bee making things for well over 28 years, seeing the how happy my handmade item could make someone was plenty for me. Then someone mentioned going to fairs and festivals... so after some research I started loading my items up and going to some local to some local fairs and festivals. that proved fun and yes more money and work. Times change over the years and we are in 2020. From family, patients, friends to fairs to now a" new online" frontier. From free in house advertising to online store fronts, ads, webpages, landing pages, websites, to virtual shows to....here and now. It is later and BusyBeane is a crafting business where I pride myself in making every aspect of every item possible. I have become quite graceful and trained in... rolling up paper beads, rolling out paper pulp beads, wrapping paperclip beads with paper and thread. Now I am practicing the art of working in clay to produce even yet a different decorative bead, for my collection. Working in clay has even opened up yet even more ideas to make, whew!!! just what I need something else to make. I try to put out an email at least once a month for subscribers to follow me along in the some of the many steps of making one completed item. Every month it explains the many steps that I take in processing one featured item. Once an item is featured, subscribers will have the chance to win an item. Please follow me on my Facebook page for those details, as well as any email I am privileged in sending out to you. A few items that I am proud to mention that I make are beaded, crocheted, or seed bead, necklaces, earrings, bracelets. I also make multiple shape and sized sun catchers, beaded curtains both being used for indoor and outdoor. Mobiles made up of different shapes, materials, sizes coming together for a very unique piece of work. My wind spinners are my newest item, and most are still under construction. Limited home decor as in abstract wall art with acrylic paint pours, or framed pictures using all kinds of lights, and other mixed materials. I am into faux glass window stains, paints using clear glue and food coloring.
