Calla Lily Retreat, my home studio, is dedicated to affordable art for all. While creative focus is oil painting, the subject matter and style vary greatly. My studio philosophy is direct: problems can't be fixed when chronic hunger clouds the horizon. So, 35% of all sales are sent to the local food bank. A tummy takes a step toward social recovery, an artist gets a bit of studio space back, and you get some unique art. Win-Win-Win!
Bio Stuff. Now a 45-year resident of New Mexico, I am a native of southern Michigan upbringing. Because of an insane mid-life education, I get to carry around a few letters after my name (BFA, BS, MA), but the best part is the life experience that finds its way into my art. Now a retiree with a love for travel, I look to shows and festivals to share my obsession. It would be a pleasure to cross paths and share a moment of life's road with you!
