Capt. Steve is a licensed Merchant Mariner. He's discovered his talent for art in elementary school. His elementary teacher gave him an "A" in art but stated "something besides ships". Sailing ships was in his genetics having descended from a Chesapeake Bay captain and oysterman. When not captaining a tour vessel he enjoys fishing. In recent years he has produced paintings of fish from the Mid-Atlantic to the Florida Keys. In the last year he has developed the ability to create reprints of his artwork on ceramic tiles using dye sublimation. He has reproduced reprints for a renown photographers as well as for amateurs.
