The Castroville Area Chamber of Commerce is the heart of Castroville, Texas and the surrounding areas. Castroville is located 20 miles west of San Antonio. Our town was founded in 1844 by Henri Castro and settlers from mostly Alsace, France. Generations of those early pioneers are still living here today and continue the traditions and heritage of their ancestors. Historic downtown Castroville boasts a historic home walking tour, many which are restored and lived in. The quaint stores and restaurants are a must see when you visit.
