I draw pictures of old cars in colored pencil. I really enjoy the way the wax based prismacolores blend. I work with many layers of colors and than burnish with a white pencil or a colorless blender pencil. When I burnish I use allot of pressure to mix the colors and this makes them reflective and shinny. My drawings are done on a matte board, I find this works well with my burnishing techniques.
Lately I have been doing allot more reflection type pictures. It gives it a photrealism style with an abstract twist.
