I am a self taught wood carver of apprx. 4 years experience. I had never sculpted, carved or painted before, but after I had my hip replaced in my mid 40's, I began a couple of wood projects to pass the time. I am glad I did, for it has allowed me to discover a new skill and passion, but most importantly, it is an activity that brings a smile to my face every day. I am learning and improving rapidly with each new creation. I never cared to paint before, now I relish this phase of the process to complete my carvings. I put my all into each piece...I hope the results make you smile as well!
