The Cherry River Festival is a non-profit organization that prepares and promotes the week long celebration every year. The Festival has been around for over 80 years. It is a week long celebration (formerly called Homecoming) with entertainment, special events, races, parades and a craft show. Rides are open daily on the midway. The craft show features local crafters offering their wares on the sidewalk at the Shopping Center. on Saturday. Fireworks marks the end of the celebration on Saturday evening.
