He is a 9 time KCCM Award recipient (Kansas City Christian Music Award), and a MOMENTUM AWARD recipient presented in Nashville, TN. He is also the recipient of the SPIRIT OF UNITY Award (also presented in Nashville) for his commitment to community and fellowship.
Christopher Ames has 6 recorded CD projects on the Remnant Music Group label, with his 7th CD due in April 2011. His music is well received by all ages and has been recognized by the industry as well. His music has charted on Christian and Country radio charts and his most recent album-Everyday With You crossed into the mainstream market as well where it received a nomination for Pop Album of the Year by the Syracuse Area Music Awards, a nomination for best Adult Contemporary song (LINGER) at the 2008 ISSA (Independent Singer Songwriter Awards) and 2 honorable mentions in the 2008 Song Door International Songwriting Competition. Christopher has also licensed music from his CD's to a variety of outlets.
In 2009, Christopher Ames brought yet another song to radio with an original Christmas tune called LEAD US INTO CHRISTMAS DAY. Radio stations across the USA, as well as countries including Italy, Germany, Portugal, Australia and more, added it to their play lists. The song has a Beatle-esque feel to it, but continues to offer that message of HOPE that Christopher Ames is so good at focusing on. It is certainly a Holiday crowd pleaser!
