Denise Jordan's Clay Goddess Studio started at Chandler's Wharf in Wilmington, NC back in 2009. While no longer based there, the work is decidedly coastal and is now taken on the road to art shows and festivals in coastal regions. Denise earned her BFA in Ceramics from East Carolina University in 1991. Working with Ben Owen III while in college and afterwards, was a great way to learn traditional and foundational principles of pottery. Many years of experimentation has led to her signature turquoise glaze combinations that are the focus of her work.
