Clayton County is a suburban community just minutes south of downtown Atlanta. We have a relaxed and neighborly feel like a small town, but with all the amenities of a major metropolitan area. Established in 1858, the county was named after Judge Augustine S. Clayton. It is home to Hartsfield Jackson International Airport, the Georgia International Convention Center, Clayton State University, Georgia State Archives, Gone With The Wind Museum, and the State Farmer's Market.
