Lucia Briggs, owner of  Con Gioia,Lucia (With joy, Lucia), owned a graphic design firm in NYC for many years before taking a metal jewelry course in Taos, NM. That experience opened up a new world of creativity which challenged and fascinated her. Today she creates unusual, beautiful pieces in sterling silver, often incorporating stones such as agates, obsidian, labradorite, carnelian and jade. Her creations have often been described as pieces of art, rather than jewelry. Customers report that they receive compliments whenever they wear her one-of-a-kind designs.
