Conni Laine resides on the beautiful Island of St. Simon's Georgia. She has twice received a People's Choice award while living in North Georgia and performed as a solo artist for 10 years in the Atlanta Area, North Georgia, Florida and North Carolina. She performs with her band Dirty Car Mouth and also as a solo artist.
Conni worked with the legendary Jimmy Johnson of Alabama Muscle Shoals; her last project with Mr. Johnson was recorded with some of the original Swamper musicians and it is Stellar.
Miss Laine is a consummate singer, songwriter, performer and musician a dynamo of musical expression who knows how to deliver, a true professional all around.
Born and raised in the South, Conni grew up appreciating Southern Blues played by her father. From the age of five, Conni's passion to sing never wavered and a true love for music was influenced at a young age by many of the great Motown artists.
At the age of 12 she started writing songs, only it was much later in life she would come into a richer writing ability. Conni sings with a passion for each song as if she lived every song, whether expressing Blues, Country or Rock she performs the song with conviction and it is surely entertaining.
