Hazel Berger's images are about color and beauty. The main body of work includes a three year study of Japanese Magnolias. The idea is to move the viewer into the tree, so they can see the beautiful blooms that last only a few days each year.
Cone, blanket and black eyed susans are also captured in unique shots with fitting titles like First Date, Waltzing and Together.
The photographer has been shooting images for over 25 years but began showing her photographs in juried shows and selling her work in art festivals in 2007.
These works are printed by the artist on Hahnemuhle papers. Hazel Berger is based in Marietta, Georgia.
