Maker of Rope Tension hand drums, Ashikos, Djembes, and other styles of hand drums. Small carvings including Walking sticks, & Bowls, Some wood turnings as well. I have 20 years experience making handdrums and have developed specialized equipment to ply my trade. My drums range from beginner size (around a 10 inch head) to several professional level drums. My Ashikos are made from a variety of woods using a "slat" method much like the way barrels are made. My Djembes are Carved from Solid Tree trunks then Turned on a Wood Lathe. I use Goat, Deer and Cow leather for the heads.
