Cynthia Tabeau Pritchard was born in Southern California and cultivated her interest in art and music at an early age. She continues to play the piano and has sketched and painted throughout her life, more recently creating abstract art and experimenting with various abstract art styles.
Her inspiration comes from poems or films that move her, color palettes of the great masters, or land and seascapes from her various travels. Cynthia uses professional-grade acrylic paints and pouring mediums. Her technique involves pouring, sometimes gestural painting, with splattering, palette knife and brushwork.
Cynthia's pieces have been exhibited in online galleries. Her piece, "Ocean Tempest" was featured in the Special Merit category of the Light Space & Time November 2019 online exhibition, comprised of 657 entrants from 32 countries around the world. Cynthia is also a member of the Manchester Artists Association.
