Growing up, everyone I knew made things. The act of creation was simply a part of life. Hands were never idle, and there were always projects waiting.
I started making jewelry because I wanted specific pieces. I wanted pieces with weight. Large pieces in warm colors. Delicate pieces that were feminine, but strong. Jewelry is a deeply personal accessory and I love being able to create pieces that become personal talismans for their wearers.
Jewelry making and chainmaille weaving is an act of meditation and addiction. My brain and my hands are always creating, always devising new patterns, new photos, new packaging. Each piece creates a need in me to try something new, push boundaries and learn more.
