Hello, thanks for looking at my profile. I am a retired music teacher but still love sharing music by performing live. I do write my own songs and I really enjoy playing the music of the legendary John Prine and 1920's Traditional Blues classics. I have selections of 1920's style blues tunes from the works of Robert Johnson, Blind Willie McTell, Mississippi John Hurt, Leadbelly, Elizabeth Cotton and others. My 1950's Stella parlor acoustic guitar, a 1944 S.S.Stewart acoustic and a Slack Key 12 String are guitars I use to bring out the most authentic renditions of these blues tunes. John Prine is a genuine songwriter's songwriter—in that he's written the kind of songs other songwriters aspire daily to write. I thoroughly enjoy performing a wide variety of Prine songs for you. His songs need to be heard more often.
My performance can be a set of originals, a set of blues, and a set of John Prine songs. Of course, throw them together for variety music all day.
