My name is Dan Gaskell and I'm the owner of Patriotic Flag Works. What started as a curiosity on how to build a wooden flag, has turned into a business that I love! I built one for myself, posted it on social media and bam!, I started getting requests to make flags for others!
I love American and I love what the flag stands for. Red is for hardiness and valor, white symbolizes purity and innocence, and blue represents vigilance, perseverance and justice. I believe that America is the land of great opportunity!
The flags I offer all start with choice lumber, milled by me and burned (slightly!) for a rustic feel. I then hand paint every flag and apply 2 coats of polyurethane to promote durability and beauty. You pick your level of “shine”. We can go from a satin to gloss finish, depending on your preferences.
There's lots of possibilities I can do with your flag such as applied stars, added custom badges, symbols, custom paint and design, etc. The list goes on and on. These flags are great for hanging in your office, living room, shop or just about anywhere else you feel patriotic. The standard sizes are 37″x19 1/2″ and 25″x13″ but of course, I can build any size you want!
