The purpose of the Danville Area Association for the Arts & Humanities is to encourage, promote, and sponsor cultural and educational activities. Specifically, the Association's basic aims are to: Promote cooperative planning among members in the establishment and development of programs; promote the recognition of our local, racial, ethnic, and industrial heritage; offer informational and advisory services in the promotion of the arts and humanities; provide a voice before federal, state and local governing bodies in support of the arts and humanities. Our current projects include: Art on Main, Arts Calendar, Youth Action Committee.
