Originally from Aurora, Illinois, David Berkowitz holds a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from the Chicago Art Institute. Influenced by his father who was also an artist, after finishing high school, David moved to Chicago in order to learn history of contemporary art. For David, art has the ability to be the door to the unconscious and it is the artist who, through the energy he infuses into his work, inspires others to look for the wonderful outside of everyday life, returning all the inspiration he draws from the world.
From seascapes to mountains and landscapes, award-winning artist David Berkowitz from Chicago finds huge inspiration in his surroundings. His work has been exhibited in Chicago, New York, Atlanta, and Austin. He has received extensive on-line media and press coverage.
David Berkowitz Chicago is currently exhibiting a range of contemporary paintings in acrylic using vibrant colours in red, blue, orange and yellows.
