Deblynne McClinton is also a writer who has penned several short plays, songs and articles. She is also an actress who played the part of Bessie's Smith's sister in the play Bessie & Me which ran at the Seven Stages Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia.
Deblynne McClinton has also performed with various Jazz bands, R&B groups, and performed in a Blues and also provided back up vocals for Willie Hill, a blues artist. Deblynne has also been the opening act for “The Coasters” in Los Angeles, California. While in California, she has performed at Disneyland Legends in Concert doing a tribute to Billie Holliday. The Dunbar Hotel, and various other special events and private parties. Her ability to flow through various styles with ease is evident by audience response.
