2018 will mark the 15th anniversary of the Deep Roots Music Festival. Beginning in 2004, the Festival has been presented annually in the Annapolis Valley with the majority of the events taking place in the Town of Wolfville. The Festival is a key but not only activity of the Deep Roots Music Cooperative (DRMC). The DRMC acts as a catalyst for live music performance in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia.
Between activities in local schools, free and paid events, workshops and a jazz styled parade the DRMC welcomes over 8000 people to Wolfville and the surrounding areas of the Annapolis Valley.
