Sing! Contest

Well we are almost to the end of the national Sing! contest hosted by Developers Diversified Realty/Aspen Grove Shopping Center. We were so honored to be chosen as the group representing Colorado! The contest ends at 12pm EST on October 31st-we are currently 3rd in voting with well over 2,000 votes under our belt. We had so much fun promoting this event-we got to go on 850 KOA with Mike Rosen, sang the call letters on KGNU 88.5 radio Boulder and sang "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" for Rick Crandall on 1430 KEZW! We got to sing before the Littleton City Council, had an article written about us for the Littleton Gazette (http://www.littletongazette.com/October5_2011/Deja_Vu.html), posted at Durango Downtown (http://www.durangodowntown.com/news/d%C3%A9j%C3%A0-vu-ladies-barbershop-quartet-vies-national-prize), the SummitDaily.com (http://www.summitdaily.com/article/20111014/AE/111019912) and sang for votes at our favorite shopping center Aspen Grove! We met so many great people and had some fun experiences that we will never forget. Thanks to Kim Calder from Aspen Grove and all the great store owners that let us serenade them. A special thank you to Julie's sister Angie for helping us arrange our song. Finally, thanks to everyone who voted for us everyday and for all the wonderful support and good wishes! We may not have won the contest but we came away winners all the same!
