The Pretty Palette (www.prettypalette2.com) has been in operation for 25 years performing a variety of decorative painting genres. The first 10 years involved painted handcrafted wood pieces and small furniture in acrylic designs. The next 15 years, my business moved to the wall--I became trained and proficient in the arts of faux finishes, plasters, stenciling, rosemaling, trompel 'oil, and murals. Currently, Dianne's has decided to get down off the ladder and pursue her deepest passion in the art of Plein air painting landscapes on canvas. I now have been oil painting for about 10 years and loving it! I am always on the look out for painting subjects, whether it be in the neighborhood or across the country.
My goal as a painter of landscapes is to pull the viewer into the painting so that they may experience it as I do! I believe that nature has healing powers that are often ignored. I want to bring nature into your home that you may experience the healing peace, solitude and serenity of the scene.
