I utilize both up-cycled and new materials to create stunning hats and head-wear. Using traditional millinery tools and techniques, I dye, form, and shape plain wool and straw into fashionable and fantastic shapes. I then adorn these hats, crowns, etc. with hand-beaded silk florals, leaves, jewels, fabrics and found objects.
I began my career as a costume designer and hold a degree in design that includes a minor in fashion history. I am an expert at making wearables that are, in spirit, old, new, and timeless all at once. Accessories and garments are designed, patterned, and sewn by me. At present the majority of my product line is hats, though I do sometimes supplement this line with scarves, shawls, wraps and the occasional corset.
Prices start at $10 for the simplest of flower clips for one's hair, and increase to $250 for the most intricate of designs. The majority of my products fall between $40 and $120.
