Pottery Must Sell

My name is Don Welch.

I acquired this pottery from a former doctor/artist/friend of mine. The
pottery is unique. (The theme of the pottery is faces. The Dr. was a
Psychologist, hence the face theme.) I believe he started making the
pottery here in Manchester. I believe he then went through a divorce. He
then met a Philippine women and got married then moved to the Philippines
for a couple of years. While there he continued to make a wide variety of
ceramic items. he then moved back here to Manchester (with pottery packaged
and shipped), where he and his wife reside. I actually help the Dr. with a
few stages of the design and manufacturing of the pottery.

I have helped the retired doctor and his wife with a wide variety of things
over the years. He never compensated me as I never asked to be compensated.
He has aged since making this pottery and decided he was not going to do
any of art fairs or crafts show as his age was catching up with him. (I
recall he did a Renaissance Fair in Massachusetts and made like $35,000 in
the week of the fair)

In any case, I acquired the pottery and was going to do the same. Go to
arts & craft fairs and show. Well, I never found the time. And now I just
want to sell the whole lot. I never totally inventoried everything, as I
now have it all stored on a 53¿ Tractor Trailer. You theoretically could
not put another box in this trailer. There has to be in excess of 50,000
pieces. The pieces are all individually bubble wrapped and boxed. The
pieces range from motor and pestle pieces, 9¿-20¿ vases (round,
square, rectangular) clocks (many varieties, some all ceramic, some with
finished wood boards and ceramic)) salt and pepper shakers (in which the
salt and pepper comes through the nose) storage containers, tic-tack-toe
board games (some all ceramic, some with finished wood boards and ceramic),
face refrigerator magnets, and button clip-ons. Necklaces, pendants.

There is many more items. One would really have to look at this. I believe
the faces were fired, then squished and the put on the vases and fired
again. not fully sure of the process but the items have the effect of no 2
faces the same.

I have attached a couple of pictures. Please let me know if you have any
idea¿s on who may be interested. I want $15,000 for everything (including
plastic storage containers) Thanks for your time.

Sincerely,

Don Welch
