I create custom bowls from cement for people who love light sculptural art in their home. My style follows the simplicity of line inspired by Chinese tree painting. I let the natural organic lines playfully change the negative space of the bowls. The bowls for homes and gardens come in sizes from the very small (3-5”) to over two feet in diameter by molding concrete around balloons and balls. My work is perfect for spaces indoors and out. They are very weather friendly and can stay outside all year round. I hand paint each piece using water-based acrylic paint and non-toxic sealer. The bowls for food are sealed with a food safe wax.
The types of bowls I create are intended for tea lights, pillar candles, centerpieces, dry food, buddha statues, garden ornaments, garden potting bowls, and art for your home.
