Elise and Steve are Singer-Songwriters with an electic sound hat is part of the new voice of American folk music. Jazzy, Americana, Folky goodness with beautiful harmonies and story-telling you won't forget. Our go-to instruments are acoustic guitar and electric bass. We play most often as a duo but also play with a percussionist when the venue/event is a fit.
Elise and Steve both grew up in California, with shared mid-Western and Southern roots. Steve has played for years in rock, folk and indie bands in the Northern California Bay Area. Elise grew up with a passion for song-writing, surrounded by the sounds of primarily classical, jazz and latin music. They came together in 2017 to start their musical journey as Elise and Steve. They are releasing their first LP this Spring.
