Life's beauty in so many forms has captured my imagination and spirit since my very early memories, and after a sequence of careers that developed innate creative and healing gifts, has finally culminated in a form of expression that embraces visual, energetic and aural beauty in wearable form.
As I create one-of-a-kind original art jewelry, I approach each work as impressionist art through beads and words to capture an idea, a place, a feeling to awaken the wearer to her/his highest good reminding them they are so much more than they appear to be.
Designs are created from any and all materials that capture my imagination: gemstones, crystal, art & vintage glass, pearls, Silver, Vermeil & Copper, taking weeks, months and even years (two designs took 7 years, belying their simplicity!) to come from concept to form.
Each set is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity providing its name, a poetic descriptor written expressly for the piece, a list of materials and small “jewel like” photo of the design.
It's truly rewarding to realize that I've now sold more than 80% of the designs I have created to people in more than 34 states and 9 countries, predominantly through local events. Events are a wonderful opportunity to not only share my creations but to be rewarded with insightful and appreciative feedback.
