I started doing stained glass about 26 years ago. After one class I was hooked and learned all I could about it. Through the years, I've been in stores and various arts and craft fairs, designer showcases and taught a bit. When I divorced, although I never gave up my art, I focused more on career and did glass as gifts or special order. About 12 years ago I had an accident that required years of recovery, etc. About four years ago, I started having fun with mosaic and some how stumbled across fusing. After some research, I started playing with fusing and have taught myself through trial and error. I purchased a kiln and have never looked back! I've had a great time learning and creating, mixing the fusing with stained glass, making my own glass to use in mosaic, everything I can imagine! I've started painting with glass powders, mixing glass to form reactions, adding alcohol ink on top of dichroic glass and am really enjoying having the opportunity to do the things I love again!
Im now ready to start in fairs again to hopefully build up some regular business and clients.
