The Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science is a general museum located in the Historic District in Downtown Evansville. The Museum's roots have been traced to the Ladies' Literary Club in the year 1874. Since its founding, the Evansville Museum has had several homes; the Museum has stood at its current site since the 1950s.
The Museum offers exhibitions, educational happenings and family programming that feed the mind and soul. Watch for events exploring art, history and science and make sure to see the exciting, panoramic films in the Koch Immersive Theater!
The Winter Art & Craft Festival will take place on the Riverfront of Evansville, Indiana at the Evansville Museum. The Winter Art & Craft Festival combines a shopping opportunity, which will offer unique and hand-made items as well as fine art and craft items, with a family-friendly event that will include hands-on winter-themed activities for both adults and children. Guests will also have the opportunity to take their picture with Santa Claus. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. There will also be a Silent Auction of items donated by local businesses, Musical Performances and the Raffling of 2 Museum $100 Level Memberships. The event day will be admission free. The Koch Immersive Theater will be showing movies and planetarium shows for ticket pricing of $7.00 Adult, $5.00 Child and $5.00 for Museum members.
