Beverly Adams-Hoover was born in Connecticut. After graduating with a BA in Economics/Management, she began her career in steel manufacturing. While pursuing her MBA in 2003, she and her husband acquired a heavy plate job shop. Five years later, almost to the day, the world economy collapsed. With a little creativity and a lot of time on her hands, Adams began to experiment with scrap material laying around the shop. It was then she discovered her passion. She smiled when one of her animals “came to life.” Some even made her laugh. Others smiled too, and shared frequently hilarious tales of beloved pets, past and present. Those stories, the emotions they evoke, and her love of all creatures, great and small, continue to serve as Adams’ inspiration. She and her husband reside in Western Pennsylvania.
